~ CUPCAKES ~

Tonight Dylan had his friend Andrew spend the night! They were very excited to be able to hang out, since Andrew has been away! They were also excited that the others couldn't interrupt them, as Emily and Skyler spent the night at my mom's!

Now, since we are having a party tomorrow, they wanted to help!

I gave them the job of making the cupcakes!

They had a great time! I let them get the ingredients together, measure everything out, mix, pour and bake.

And of course, lick the spoons!

They set the timers and waited for them to be done!

In the end, Deryk and I joined in on the fun! It was a great time!

Our busy week has finally come to an end!

This week was a busy week for us! 

Dylan was participating in the FSK JR EAGLES Soccer Camp every evening from 6:00pm to 8:30 pm all week. He had a great time! He learned some soccer skills, played with friends, got a cool t-shirt and they had a pizza party this evening! He will be playing soccer for the season!

Emily was participating in WEST CARROLL FIELD HOCKEY Boot Camp every evening from 5:30pm to 8:00pm all week. She learned the basics of Field Hockey, how to work together as a team and got a awesome t-shirt! She will be playing Field Hockey for the season! 

Skyler will be playing for the FSK JR EAGLES clinic soccer. They younger kids did not have a camp this week. We did not want Skyler to be left out, so he attended a COMMUNITY VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL at Trinity Lutheran Church from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. His friend Drew was attending also, and he met some other new friends! He had a great time! This evening all of the kids put on a performance for their parents. Skylers group sang the song "This little light of mine"! He did such a great job and was too cute! 

 

And of course, I had to find some fun things to do with Hayden while Everyone else was busy! On Monday, we decided to get the other kids donuts for snack after camp. While we were at the Dunkin Donuts, we also got some Baskin Robbins cookies-n-creme ice cream! Yummmmmmyyyy! On Tuesday, we enjoyed some time at the Taneytown Library. On Wednesday, we had fun at the park. Thursday, practices were rained out. Apparently by friday, the week was just too exhausting, because I fell asleep on the soccer field! 

 

Hayden's Playdate!

On Tuesday, Hayden had a wonderful playdate! We filled up the pool, got her bathing suit on, and made grilled cheese and oranges for lunch.

Stormie and Leo Came over to have lunch and swim! They had a great time!

Of course the pool was not all they played in. We filled buckets, tubs, and the wagon!

They played on the trampoline and in the yard.

After awhile, we were all tired and it was nap time! We got the kids changed and Our friends left! It was a fun afternoon!

Meet and Greet with Kris Allen

This past Sunday, My mother took Emily to a meet and greet with Kris Allen (American Idol winner last year) for her Birthday! He played 3 acoustic songs, had a question and answer session, chatted for a bit, took photos and signed autographs! Not only did Emily get a signed photo for herself, but she also got one for Dylan and her friend Gabby, who loves Kris Allen! That was so sweet!! It was a great end to her birthday week! 

Leo's 1st Birthday Party!

WOW... our weekend was FULL of parties!

On Sunday, Hayden and I celebrated our friend Leo's First Birthday at Taneytown Memorial Park!

Hayden had a BLAST!!!!

This was the first time that Hayden has ever been invited anywhere without her siblings!

Leo and Hayden and other kids played, opened gifts and of course enjoyed cake!

We had a great time!

Christian's 2nd Birthday Party!

On Saturday, we had the pleasure of celebrating Christian's 2nd Birthday with him! It was Toy Story theme, and we had a great time!

The kids played in the pool and on the waterslide!

The kids had a great time!

And of course the swingset was alot of fun!

And finally it was time to eat cake and open gifts!

After much thanks and hugs, we headed out!

Emily's Birthday Slumber Party!

On Friday, Emily had her Birthday party!  This year it was a slumber party with her friends! 

So, We spent the day friday finding spa product recipies online, printing recipie cards, shopping for all of the supplies and food, dropping off Dylan at camp and Skyler and Hayden at my mom's.

 At 6:00pm, her friends started showing up! They started out the evening playing outside and waiting for everyone to arrive. By 7:30, everyone was here, so we got started!

We began with having each of the girls make 2 individual pizzas. We had mini crusts, sauce, cheese and toppings. Each girl created their own, and had fun doing so! 

While the pizzas cooked, they decided to have a dance party in the living room. The dance party continued while they ate! Luckily my friend Kandi decided to stick around for awhile and our cousin Taylor came to help out! i'm not sure I could have gotten through without them!

 Next we got started with making our homemade spa products. Earlier in the day, I had set up bags for each girl. Inside of the bag, they each had containers labeled for each product that they were making!Each bag also had the recipie for what was made! 
 I lined up the bags on the counter and we got started! We made shampoo, face wash, body scrub, bath salts, lotion, and lip gloss! The girls had a blast! After they all had their bags of goodies, we tried some of the extras. Each girl was able to try the facial mask and the body scrub! 

When that was finnished, we did cake and presents! Emily got some great gifts, gift cards and money! 

By this time it was about 9:30pm. Some of the girls were leaving at 10pm, so they decided to go outside in the dark with flashlights. 

Some friends left, and most stayed. At 1am, they decided to come inside! Everyone got their Pajamas on and went downstairs to watch movies. After awhile of giggling and noise, they began to settle down. Finally, by 3am, they were all asleep!

 It was alot of fun! I hope everyone had a great time! I hope this was a memorable birthday for Emily!
